There are 2 Churches in Orleton.
St George’s Church
St George’s Church, Orleton, has been a place of worship since the 12th century and was built from local sandstone.
Additions and alterations were made over the next two centuries.
It has some remarkable features including a highly decorated twelfth century font, Jacobean pulpit,
14th century churchyard cross and identifiable sculptured heads over the chancel arch.
A detailed plan of the churchyard is available in the church porch.
St George’s church services follow a regular pattern. You will find a warm welcome on a Sunday morning.
For more information please see the
St George's website.
